There are some neighbourhoods in Toronto that a middle class couple just won't want to move into, not because they are unsafe but because they are downright snobby. And that leads us to the atmosphere of the neighbourhoods. One of the reasons why Toronto has such distinct communities is that most of them started out as towns themselves. Located in the Etobicoke section of Toronto, this is a relatively affluent neighbourhood that started out as a sort of planned community by prominent individuals. It is well defined, as are the catchment areas of the private schools it includes.
